Rules

Purpose of the day

This is a training / track day and is not a race day.  Everyone attending our track days are expected to ride smart, safe and exercise good judgement while on the track.  If you are riding at 100% of your abilities, you are probably going to crash or cause someone else to crash.

Sighting Laps

After the rider's briefing at the start of each session, there will be 2 sighting laps on the track.  They are mandatory and during these laps you will be shown the track layout as well as the entry and exit locations.

Track Entry / Exit

Ensure that you take extra care when entering the track, and be sure to give way to riders on the racing line.
When exiting the track make sure you raise an arm or put out your leg advising fellow riders of your intentions.

Passing

Safe, clean, and courteous passing is the rule here.  Only group 1 or Motard riders may pass on the inside.
Please be courteous of your fellow riders when passing.  Passer beware, it is the faster rider's primary responsibility to make a safe, clean, and courteous pass on the rider he/she is overtaking.  It is the slower rider's secondary responsibility to hold their line and not make any sudden moves when being overtaken.  You will get plenty of track time throughout the day so there is no need to stuff someone in a corner or make a risky pass that might jeopardise the safety of both you or the other rider.

Crashing

Should you have the misfortune of crashing, we will do our best to recover you and your bike as quickly as possible.  If you are injured, we will get medical help to you immediately.

Pit Lane / Paddock

No Smoking - There too many flammable liquids around to risk starting a chain reaction of exploding motorcycles and race trailers.  Please leave the pit/paddock area if you must smoke.

Speed - No faster than a brisk walk.  There is a lot of activity in the pit/paddock area with people walking around.  Please ride carefully when in this area.

Rubbish - we are guests at these track facilities so before you leave, check around your pit area and dispose of any rubbish properly.
